The Genesis of a Grim Tale

Blood Bunnies draws its dark, comedic spirit from the intricate and often bewilderingly absurd tenets of the Albanian Kanun. This ancient code of conduct, with its strict rules on honor, hospitality, and, most notably, blood feuds, provides the fertile ground for our story.

We transpose these old-world laws onto two unsuspecting rabbit clans: the earnest Pinktoes and the resolute Greyfoots. Their lives, once governed by the simple rhythms of nature, become hopelessly entangled by the cryptic dictates of the ‘Book of Blood’. What ensues is a captivating, often unsettling, and surprisingly humorous descent into chaos.

This isn't your typical children's story about fluffy bunnies. It's a Tim Burtonesque exploration of cultural indoctrination, the fragility of innocence, and the blurred lines between prey and predator. Narrated by the sagacious Fox Mother, listeners are invited to witness this mesmerizing drama unfold, filled with quirky charm, shocking twists, and an undercurrent of profound commentary.
